( Figs. 25 D–F) Diagnostic remarks. A small, nondescript katydid ( Fig. 25F ), very similar to P. sparsa but distinguishable by more slender and more incurved cerci in the male ( Fig. 25E ). The stridulatory area of the tegmina also appears darker than in other species of the genus ( Fig. 25D ). Bioacoustics. The call of P. nigropunctata is unknown.
