description · Plazi

( Figure 5d ) Bioacoustics ( Figure 6g –h ) Male calls only at night. Duration of the pulses: 15.3 ± 1.6 ms (12–19 ms); duration of echemes: 0.5 ± 0.05 s (0.4– 0.6 s ); mute interval between echemes: 0.07 ± 0.01 s (0.49– 0.12 s ); bandwidth: 17.6 ± 0.3 kHz (16.8–18.6 kHz); peak frequency: 28.5 ± 0.8 kHz (23.8– 30.4 kHz). This is the only species of Conocephalus studied herein for which the peak frequency of the calling song is situated in the ultrasound; due to the large bandwidth the sound can be heard, but it is quite soft.

Counts are recordings at or below each taxon, so an empty branch shows as empty before you click it. A dash means the join view holds no column for that rank and cannot roll up to it.

The rows audioBlast holds for this taxon, each matched to the same Catalogue of Life node. Where a source classifies it differently, its own classification is kept.
