Diagnosis. Physcoa oxycera (Zhu & Song, 1993) , comb. nov. is similar to P. cyclocera ( Zhu, 1998 ) , comb. nov. (cf. Fig. 8 and fig. 34 D, E in Zhu 1998 ) in having an embolic projection, but can be distinguished from P. cyclocera by: (1) retrolateral tibia with one trichobothrium (vs with two trichobothria); (2) prolateral distal cymbium with a projection (vs cymbium without projection); and (3) embolic base with a tiny, tooth-like projection (vs without basal projection).
