Plazi
( Figures 21 , 48 ) Measurement. Body length (incl. tegmen): male (N=4) 4.9–5.4 mm ; length of tegmen: male (N=4) 4.3–4.8 mm . Coloration. Body generally yellowish to brownish. Vertex white ( Fig. 21A ). Frons with lateral marginal carinae and disc white to yellowish ( Fig. 21C ); genae yellowish to brownish ( Fig. 21B ). Clypeus white, with disc yellowish ( Fig. 21C ). Tegmina generally white and transparent, with black stripes along subapical line reaching until MP 4 and gradually fading, and ones along trunk and branches of MP, trunk of CuA, entire CuP, and apical margin, two short oblique black stripes perpendicular to first and second hm near anterior margin, one blackish marking on distal side of claval apex and another short one perpendicular to postclaval margin at apical third of C5; veins yellowish basally and red apically ( Fig. 21D ). Wings generally white, without prominent markings bearing clear boundaries, tinged brownish medially, as well as along jugal margin posterior to stridulatory plate and apical margin, especially darker between CuA and CuP; veins mostly white to yellowish, and MP, CuA 1 b and CuA 2 red on apical third ( Fig. 21E ). Legs generally brown. Abdomen generally yellowish, slightly reddish subapically, male genitalia brownish ( Fig. 21B ). Structure. Head and thorax. Frons with lateral marginal carinae contiguous at base, slightly separated until dorsal margin of antennae, then abruptly diverging distad ( Fig. 21C ). Rostrum reaching hind coxae ( Fig. 21B ). Subantennal process and lateral carinae of pronotum little developed ( Fig. 21C ). Tegmina about 1.9 times longer than widest part, with ScP+RA separating from RP at basal third and before midlength, MP arising from ScP+R at basal third of bc, MP 3+4 forked at its basal third, MP 4 connected with CuA 1+2 by a short veinlet ( Fig. 21D ). Male genitalia. Anal tube short in dorsal view, with lateral margins parallel, elevated dorsally, with apical margin truncated; epiproct short, paraprocts with apical margin serrated and protruded medially ( Fig. 48B ). Pygofer with triangular laterodorsal processes, acute apically ( Fig. 48A ). Gonostylus subrectangular, with obliquely truncated apical margin, ventral margin concave near base; two adjoined dorsal processes at middle of dorsal margin, basal one small, hooked caudad and inwards, apical one elongated, slightly convex basally, curved caudad and outwards apically ( Fig. 48C ). Phallic complex with periandrium relatively broad and laterally constricted subapically; apical part with a conical process at dorsal side of middle, apical margin incised medially, right part more produced and angulate than left ( Figs 48D, E ).
Counts are recordings at or below each taxon, so an empty branch shows as empty before you click it. A dash means the join view holds no column for that rank and cannot roll up to it.
The rows audioBlast holds for this taxon, each matched to the same Catalogue of Life node. Where a source classifies it differently, its own classification is kept.
