Discussion. Based on specimens from Thailand , Sumatra, Vietnam and Malaysia , Gorochov (2003) thought the generic species is without femoral-abdominal stridulatory complex, but we examined one Malaysian specimen from Malaysia and found the tegmina and ninth abdominal tergite is very similar to the other species of Larnaca except the presence of stridulatory area on second and third abdominal tergites.
