Diagnosis. The female of the species is similar to H. rossii Brignoli, 1977 from Italy ( Brignoli 1977: 79, fig. 46 ), H. jocquei Bosmans, 1982 from Malawi ( Bosmans 1982: 177, figs 2 – 3 ) and three Chinese species: H. ovata Song & Zheng, 1982 ( Song & Zheng 1982: 81, figs 5–8 ), H. submaginii Zhang et al. , 2011 ( Zhang et al. 2011 : 19, figs 18A–F) and H. thorntoni Brignoli, 1982 ( Figs 7 A–D) in having a distinctive epigynal atrium, but H. maginii can be distinguished from H. rossii , H. submaginii and H. thorntoni by the relatively small atrium ( Figs 1 E, 2A) and from H. jocquei and H. ovata by the short copulatory ducts ( Figs 1 F, 2B).
Counts are recordings at or below each taxon, so an empty branch shows as empty before you click it. A dash means the join view holds no column for that rank and cannot roll up to it.
The rows audioBlast holds for this taxon, each matched to the same Catalogue of Life node. Where a source classifies it differently, its own classification is kept.
