Nomenclatural notes :—The gathering G. G. Tang & X. H. Song 459 indicated by the authors as type, consists of 4 specimens kept in NF and PE. The specimen with NF barcode 17003891 is better preserved than the other 3 specimens , hence is here designated as the lectotype . Taxonomic notes :—This species is currently accepted in the Flora of China ( Xu et al. 2008 ) as Acer lungshengense Fang & Hu (1966: 179) within Aceraceae Jussieu (1789: 250) , but this family is suggested to merge into Sapindaceae in APG IV (2016).
