Echolocation: Consistent with the previous studies ( Győrössy et al. 2024a ; Ho et al. 2013 ; Huang et al. 2019a ), our bats emitted calls of varying structures, where the dominant energy in the second harmonic was typically concentrated in the FM sweep (ca. 160 kHz) rather than the very short quasi-constant frequency (QCF) component (192–194 kHz) preceding this ( Appendix 4 ). Genetic s: Our Bayesian tree reconstructed from Cytb sequences show our bat ( VN 19-53) nested well in a well-supported monophyletic lineage alongside its conspecifics from China and Taiwan . Genetic distances among our bats and their Chinese and Taiwanese allies ranged between 4.2–6.1% (data not shown).
Counts are recordings at or below each taxon, so an empty branch shows as empty before you click it. A dash means the join view holds no column for that rank and cannot roll up to it.
The rows audioBlast holds for this taxon, each matched to the same Catalogue of Life node. Where a source classifies it differently, its own classification is kept.
